Every Tuesday from 12 noon to 3pm our volunteers run a drop-in session at the Brandon Community Centre (Miners Welfare Hall).
People can come for one of the activities or simply to enjoy tea and a toastie and some conversation. We also have a range of advisers present covering debt, health, benefits and housing issues. Once a fortnight the sessions coincide with the Clothing Bank who use the main hall of the same building.
We are always looking for helpers - for the kitchen (making drinks and toasties), to help people with computers, to give some simple cookery instruction, help with literacy and numeracy skills or simply to chat or signpost foodbank clients.
