Welcome Lunches

We will be holding two welcome lunches on the 6th and 13th October immediately after our morning service at about 12:30pm

We warmly invite you to join us to meet the church family, and to find out about our church and the outreach projects we are involved with, including the foodbank.

Worship Circle

Join us for an evening of worship at our Worship Circle - if you play an instrument you are welcome to bring it and join in with our worship team but everyone is invited whether you play an instrument or not! Spend time recharging in God's presence.

Thursday 10th October 8:00pm - 10:00pm

at Waddington Street URC Church, (entrance via Mowbray St) DH1 4BG

Small Groups

We have a thriving student and 20s small group which meets once a week for Bible study, worship, prayer, fellowship and the occasional trip to the beach. Our aim is to grow in our knowledge and understanding of Jesus, to encourage each other in personal development and provide outlets to try new things and explore faith together. The small group meets every Wednesday at 7pm.

For more information, please email smallgroup@durhamvineyard.org.uk

Food

Eating together as a community is a key part of Durham Vineyard. We have a variety of refreshments on a Sunday and plenty of time to enjoy them together. It gives everyone a chance to get to know each other better and catch up with what's been happening. After the service, please stick around and make the most of the opportunity. We also have welcome meals and social events - see our diary dates for more information.

Mentoring Scheme

We offer to link people up one-to-one with a mentor from the church. This is to support you with your spiritual and personal growth. This gives you an informal sounding board to explore ideas and faith in a relaxed setting. It is mentee-led, so you get to set the agenda, and would typically involve no more than four meetings a term. If you’re interested, please email ws@durhamvineyard.org.uk
